The KIPC was host to a regional SWEP Meeting, (Society of Woman Environmental Professionals). Fifty members, representing chapters from New Jersey, Harrisburg, and Greater Philadelphia attended the event. The SWEP membership was the first to learn of KIPC’s S.E.E.D.S Initiative, and heard first hand from Kathleen Mayher, of United States Steel Corporation, about the transformation of the site.
